Mohammad Ahmed Fikree is an Emirati 2D animator and music composer. His father is from Dubai, United Arab Emirates while his late mother was from Malacca, Malaysia.

Mohammad is heavily involved with film festivals in the United Arab Emirates, so every year in some local film festivals, he screens his latest short animated film(s). Mohammad usually creates one or two short animated film(s) every year.

Mohammad is currently a student of SAE Institute in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and his major is Bacherlor Of Interactive Animation.

 

Timeline

[2007 - 2008]
Mohammad Fikree composed original scores for ArmorGames online games like "TBA 2" and "ELEMENTS".

[2009]
Mohammad Fikree composed original scores for Hamda Al Bastaki's short film "EL LAILEH" and Reem Ahli's short drama film "THE DESTINY". In late 2009, he composed original scores for ArmorGames online game "FRONTIER".

[2010]
In April, Mohammad Fikree screened his short experimental animated film "OMAR! TO SCHOOL!" at the 3rd Edition Gulf Film Festival. In September, he composed original score for Maisoon Al Saleh's solo exhibition "THE BRIGHT SIDE OF THE BONES", which took place at Maraya Art Centre, Sharjah. In October, he made it to the finalist for the "CITY OF LIFE" DVD Competition, but did not won.

[2011]
In January, Mohammad Fikree screened his short experimental animated film "GIRL & IT". In April 2011, he screened his first short animated film "MAD CAMEL" at the 4th Edition Gulf Film Festival, Zayed University Middle East Film Festival 2011, Cannes Short Film Corner 2011 and Abu Dhabi Film Festival 2011. "MAD CAMEL" received huge positive feedback, with high ratings, and were 1st place in Cannes Short Film Corner at the 'United Arab Emirates Films' section. His latest film "CHILDREN" is already completed, and will announce soon which film festivals will invite "CHILDREN". He is currently working on his next film "THE SWORD IN THE TOWER".
